Job Title: Logistics Assistant – Supply Chain Management
Location: Dubai
Job Summary:
The Logistics Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to clients. This role involves coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, managing documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination: Track and manage shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Resolve logistical issues with carriers and vendors.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and support reordering processes.
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare shipping documents, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain transaction records.
Vendor & Client Communication: Coordinate with suppliers and clients to resolve shipment issues and enhance service quality.
Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare regular reports. Analyze data for process improvements.
Collaboration: Work with supply chain, warehouse, and procurement teams to optimize operations and implement strategies.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Must have 2–3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position based in Dubai, with occasional work outside standard hours as required.
Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the warehouse or supplier locations.
