Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Management Supervisor to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, managing both the technical and operational aspects of facility management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Operations & Maintenance:
- – Oversee the daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment.
- – Schedule and supervise regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
- – Monitor the performance of service providers and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
2. Team Supervision:
- – Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, custodians, and other facility staff.
- – Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide necessary training to team members.
- – Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
3. Vendor and Contractor Management:
- – Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for maintenance and project work.
- – Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- – Monitor and evaluate contractor performance for adherence to agreed terms.
4. Safety & Compliance:
- – Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building safety, fire codes, and environmental standards.
- – Conduct regular safety audits and emergency preparedness drills.
- – Maintain and update facility-related compliance records.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control:
- – Prepare and manage the facility management budget, including operational expenses and capital projects.
- – Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- – Track expenses and generate reports for management review.
6. Space Planning & Optimization:
- – Assess space usage and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency.
- – Coordinate office moves, renovations, and new equipment installations.
7. Preventive Maintenance Planning:
- – Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment and systems.
- – Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and monitor equipment lifecycle.
8. Reporting & Documentation:
- – Maintain accurate documentation of facility operations, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- – Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on facility performance and improvements.
9. Key Qualifications and Skills:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- – 3-5 years of experience in facility management or a related supervisory role.
- – Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and safety regulations.
- – Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
- – Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- – Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preference will given to the Candidates having:
- – Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or similar credentials.
- – Candidates with UAE experience, which is a MUST
- – Shall be available in UAE.
