Job Title: Accountant & Purchase Assistant
Location: Dubai
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant & Purchase Assistant. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks and assist in managing purchasing operations to support efficient business workflows. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in the Construction or Retail Industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and ledgers.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
Purchasing Duties:
Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and process purchase orders as needed.
Maintain records of all purchase transactions and supplier communications.
Conduct market research to identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
Assist in vendor evaluations and maintain a database of reliable suppliers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or purchasing roles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes is a plus.
Experience in the Construction or Retail Industry is preferred.
