Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a background in the logistics sector to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics industry operations, attention to detail, and the ability to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for logistics operations.
• Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting for logistics operations, monitoring expenses and income.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial discrepancies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Cost Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reporting on logistics costs, identifying areas for cost savings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support logistics and operations teams in financial matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics sector.
• Knowledge of logistics financial operations and cost management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
